PCSS-B Mentor Application
The Physicians’ Clinical Support System for Buprenorphine (PCSS-B) provides an ongoing mentoring program aimed at improving provider’s confidence in treating opioid dependence. The PCSS-B is designed to assist physicians in incorporating the use of buprenorphine for prescription opioid and heroin-addicted patients in their practices. The mentoring program is available, at no cost to interested physicians and staff. The PCSS-B mentors are a national network of trained physicians with expertise in buprenorphine treatment and skilled in clinical education. Mentors provide support by telephone, email, or in-person if needed and logistically possible.
Please complete the following application to be considered as a Mentor for the PCSS-B project. All applications will be reviewed by our Medical Director and applicants will be notified of the outcome. Please note that all mentors must have the waiver to undertake office based treatment of opioid use disorders and be currently practicing with buprenorphine.
